Blues legend and extremely special delivery van driver, Jimmy Slaven, wowed an audience of freight drivers with a stunning performance of West Highland Negro music.
Illuminated and electrified, excited drivers then joined Jimmy in the Fifth Gear driver’s bar to round off the night, wiping out the ship’s supply of Dutch gin in the process.
There’ll be some sore heads this morning and let’s hope all goes well at today’s dis-embarkation in Rotterdam. Jimmy’s got a priority place at the front of the vehicle departure ramp, with his express - organ transplant - delivery van.
